China has built the world's largest cargo ship to operate in polar waters
It can carry up to 58,000 tons and sail among drifting ice floes.
The 256-meter-long (more than two soccer fields) Fan Zhou 8 ship can reach speeds of more than 15 knots (~28 km/h) and travel about 30,000 km without refueling, and will start operating in the near future
