The Skwheel One lets you carve through city streets at speeds up to 50 mph, with a design that mimics the thrill of downhill skiing

The idea is that if the car is involved in a serious accident and catches fire, the batteries (which are the most difficult to extinguish) will be ejected at lightning speed, flying out of the sills. It is not yet clear when this will go into production — prototypes are currently being tested
