Polish startup MMI has secured €7.7 million to develop electric and hydrogen buses

The investment will be utilized to develop electric bus models in three configurations: low-entrance, low-floor, and standard floor. Additionally, the company intends to develop a minibus powered by a hydrogen fuel cell and construct a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, with the aim of doubling its vehicle production capacity.
This endeavor will enhance MMI's emission-free propulsion system, chassis, and body structure, thereby strengthening its market presence in Poland and Western Europe.

Innovative chalk-based cooling fabric invented in the US

Researchers at the University of Massachusetts Amherst have unveiled a new cooling fabric with a unique chalk-based coating. It is able to reduce the temperature underneath by 4.5 degrees Celsius.

The world's first green ammonia plant opened in Denmark

In Rumme, Denmark, 3 leading energy companies have opened the world's first green ammonia plant. It is capable of producing 5,000 tons of “green” ammonia per year using only solar and wind energy.
The plant's production capacity takes into account fluctuations in the energy generated by solar panels and wind turbines, which allows for optimizing the electrolysis and ammonia synthesis processes.
