The world’s most powerful solar park rises in the mountains of Tibet

The panels cover 420 km² of the Tibetan plateau, the highest on the planet, where sunlight is much brighter due to the thin air. To get the most out of the designated areas, they are placed on higher supports so that livestock can continue to graze underneath them

Homes in Finland are heated using heat from data centres, which are powered by AI

After cooling the servers, the heated water enters the city heating network, and once cooled, it returns to the data centres. And so on and so forth. For example, Google already uses this method to heat 2,000 homes in Hamina free of charge, covering up to 80% of the city's annual needs, while Microsoft covers 40% or about 100,000 homes in Espoo
